Gold Wing club of Ukraine unites the owners of the legendary Japanese bike from Honda - the king of luxury touring motorcycles. Gold Wing is one of the most comfortable, reliable, safe and prestigious motorcycles in the world. For more than 30 years of history, he won the hearts of thousands of fans!
Since the beginning of the 80s, the owners of this bike began to unite in clubs, and in 1983 the European Gold Wing Federation (GWEF) was formed. It has more than 20,000 Gold Wing motorcycles in its ranks. Members of the European Federation are clubs from European countries, such as: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, England, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Ukraine. Ukraine has come a long way before getting the right to become a full member of this motorcycle union. Our country was officially accepted into the European Federation of Gold Wing owners on August 16, 2007.
The club is completely open to all Gold Wing owners, but just owning a touring motorcycle is not enough. It is necessary to prove that the motorcycle was not bought for the sake of image... Membership in the club obliges to represent our country in a dignified way!
The traditional form of communication of Gold Wing owners are festivals, which are called Treffen, from the Dutch word "tref", which translates as "meeting of friends". The only thing they have in common with similar motorcycle festivals is the presence of motorcycles.
A member country of the Gold Wing European Federation, according to the GWEF calendar, organizes Treffen in its country, the purpose of which is the development of motor tourism in Europe, as well as the study of the country's national culture. The first International Festival in Ukraine took place in 2008 in Lviv. 190 motorcycles arrived in Ukraine, of which 156 owners are members of the Gold Wing European Federation. Ukrainian Treffens are known among GWEF members as one of the best in terms of organization and conduct. Ukrainian Treffens have already acquired their permanent fans.
Holding International festivals is a pleasant and honorable duty for the Gold Wing Club of Ukraine!
